Privacy Policy
How We Collect, Use & Protect Your Information
Little Picklers (“Little Picklers,” “we,” “our,” “us”) cares about the privacy of every family in our program. Because our participants are children, we take extra care with the information we collect. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This Policy applies to information collected through our website, registration forms, email and text communications, and program activities. It is written to be consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and applicable New Jersey state privacy laws.

4 Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Little Picklers does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online. All registration and communication is handled through the parent or legal guardian.
If a child under 13 sends us information directly through our website or email, we will delete it as soon as we become aware of it, unless a parent has given us permission to keep it.
Parents have the right to:
- Review the personal information we have about their child
- Request that we delete their child’s information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@littlepicklers.com. We will respond within 30 days.
5 School Records (FERPA)
When Little Picklers operates an after-school program inside a partner school, we may receive limited information from the school (such as a roster). We treat this information as confidential and only use it to run the program.
If a school has us act as a “school official” under FERPA, we follow that school’s record-handling rules. We do not share student records with third parties without parental consent or as permitted by law.
6 Who We Share Information With
We share information only with parties who help us operate, and only the minimum needed for them to do their job. These may include:
- Coaches and program staff (trained, background-checked employees)
- Partner schools (rosters, attendance, basic emergency information)
- Payment processors (handled per their own privacy policies)
- Email, text messaging, and registration software providers
- Insurance providers, in the event of a claim
- Law enforcement or regulators, when legally required
7 Text Messages (SMS)
If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Little Picklers LLC, your phone number will be used solely to send the message types you consented to — either program updates or marketing messages, or both, based on your selections. SMS consent is optional and is not required to register for camp. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
8 Photos & Videos
Photos and videos of your child are only collected and used in line with the photo and video option you select during registration, as described in our Photo & Video Consent document. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time by emailing us. If you do not select an option that allows it, we will not use your child’s image in marketing or social media.
9 How We Protect Information
We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the information we collect. This includes password-protected accounts, encrypted online forms, secure payment processors, and limiting access to staff who need it.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and any required authorities as quickly as possible.
10 How Long We Keep Information
We keep family and participant information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, plus a reasonable period for legal, accounting, and recordkeeping needs. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
Parents can request deletion at any time by contacting us, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
