Our programs are designed for kids ages 7 to 13. We group children by age and skill level so every player gets instruction that matches where they are. Whether your child is a first-time athlete or already plays other sports, we meet them at their level and help them grow.

Do kids need their own equipment?

Nope! We provide all paddles, balls, and nets for every session. Kids just need to show up in comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers with non-marking soles. If your child already has their own paddle they love, they are welcome to bring it along.

Yes, without exception. Every single Little Picklers coach undergoes a comprehensive background check before they ever step on the court with your children. Our coaches are also fully certified, CPR/First Aid trained, and experienced in working specifically with young athletes. Your child's safety is not something we compromise on, period.

Pricing depends on the program format. After-school programs run through the school are typically very affordable, with many PTA-subsidized options available. How do I bring Little Picklers to my child's school?

We make it easy! If you are a parent, PTA member, or school administrator interested in adding pickleball to your after-school program or PE curriculum, simply reach out through our Schools page or contact form. We handle all the logistics including equipment, coaching, and scheduling. Many of our school partnerships started with a single parent who thought their school would love it.

What if my child has never played before?

That is the best time to start! Most of the kids in our program had never picked up a paddle before their first session. Pickleball is famously easy to learn, and our coaches specialize in making beginners feel confident and excited from the very first rally. No experience needed, just a willingness to have fun.

Do you play indoor or outdoor?

Both! Our after-school programs typically use indoor gymnasium courts, which means sessions run rain or shine. Our summer camps and community programs often use outdoor courts when weather permits.
