Youth pickleball
in Leonia.

Leonia parents have always played the long game with their kids — small classes, walkable schools, a tight community. Pickleball fits perfectly into that. Our summer camp at School #1 in Fort Lee is five minutes from any Leonia address.

  • 5 min from Leonia
  • Grades 2–6, by skill level
  • All equipment included
  • Built by a 13+ year educator

Why Leonia kids play with us

It runs Mon–Fri 9 AM–12 PM, so you can fit it around the rest of summer. And because Leonia is small, your child will probably know two or three other Leonia kids in their group within a week. The community feel translates directly onto the court.

For Leonia parents & PTAs

Bring Little Picklers
to a Leonia school.

There's no Little Picklers program in a Leonia school yet — but that's exactly what we're working to change. The next schools we go into are the ones where one parent picks up the phone.

What we bring

  • • All paddles, balls, and portable nets
  • • A 13+ year educator running the curriculum
  • • Grades 2–6 lesson plans, ready to run
  • • General liability insurance
  • • Registration, payment, and parent comms

What we need from your school

  • • A gym or multi-purpose room
  • • A time slot — after-school, PE block, or weekend
  • • An intro to the principal or PTA president
  • • A spot on the parent newsletter when we launch

No budget line. No staff time. No equipment storage.

We're still building out the standard playbook — we'll shape the format around what works for your school, whether that's an after-school session, a PE enrichment block, or a weekend clinic.

Leonia parent questions

How long is the drive from Leonia?
About 5 minutes. Most Leonia families take Fort Lee Road or Bergen Boulevard, then a quick left to School #1.
Can my Anna C. Scott or Leonia Middle School kid join?
Anna C. Scott students in grades 2–6 are the perfect fit — that's exactly our age range. Kindergarteners, first-graders, and middle-schoolers beyond 6th grade age out for now; we're working on programs for both next season.
What if my kid is the only Leonia kid in the group?
Unlikely — Leonia is one of our most consistent parent communities. But even if it happens, we mix groups across the camp daily so kids meet peers from every nearby town, not just their own school.
