Youth pickleball
in Teaneck.

Teaneck is one of the largest, most diverse towns in Bergen — every block has a different family, every school has a different vibe, but all the kids share one thing: not enough quality after-school options. Pickleball is the perfect fix. Camp lives in Fort Lee for now, about 15 minutes east of most of Teaneck.

  • 15 min from Teaneck
  • Grades 3–6, by skill level
  • All equipment included
  • Built by a 13+ year educator

Why Teaneck kids play with us

With four public elementary schools, two middle schools, and a strong private-school count, Teaneck is the kind of town where Little Picklers could run multiple sessions a week. We're not there yet — but a PTA, principal, or athletic director contact at any one of those schools is the unlock.

For Teaneck parents & PTAs

Bring Little Picklers
to a Teaneck school.

There's no Little Picklers program in a Teaneck school yet — but that's exactly what we're working to change. The next schools we go into are the ones where one parent picks up the phone.

What we bring

  • • All paddles, balls, and portable nets
  • • A 13+ year educator running the curriculum
  • • Grades 3–6 lesson plans, ready to run
  • • General liability insurance
  • • Registration, payment, and parent comms

What we need from your school

  • • A gym or multi-purpose room
  • • A time slot — after-school, PE block, or weekend
  • • An intro to the principal or PTA president
  • • A spot on the parent newsletter when we launch

No budget line. No staff time. No equipment storage.

We're still building out the standard playbook — we'll shape the format around what works for your school, whether that's an after-school session, a PE enrichment block, or a weekend clinic.

Teaneck parent questions

How far is summer camp from Teaneck?
About 15 minutes east to Fort Lee. Easy weekday drive — Route 4 or River Road.
Will Little Picklers come to Teaneck schools?
We want to. Lowell, Bryant, Hawthorne, Whittier — any of the four elementary schools, plus the middle schools — would be a fit. The schools form is how we get the right intro.
Are sessions split by language or background?
No. Pickleball is one of the most welcoming sports going — kids learn by playing, not by lecture. Groups are split by skill level, period.
